Year after year, we see new micro trends and faltering fads from the fashion industry make their way into eyewear. Thankfully for us, most of these limited trends only last about a year or two, and we are left with the beloved, timeless and unique eyewear styles that we love and cherish. Particularly when it comes to women’s eyewear, there is a sense of allure, sophistication and boldness that continues to flourish each season. As 20/20 celebrates our 50th anniversary this year, we have been searching through archives from the past five decades, and there is one thing that stands out from all of our past issues: Women’s Eyewear. This category continues to deliver stunning and transformative sunwear and optical styles that stay on trend but also reach new heights, giving women the style and fashion that they crave. This year, we focused on combining vintage and modern eyewear styles to create a mood of quiet elegance that showcases the details, shapes and colors that have come to define women’s eyewear.
