CHERRY OPTICAL LAB, a full-service independent prescription U.S.-based lab, has formed a strategic partnership with Horizons Optical, an ophthalmic technology company headquartered in Barcelona, Spain. The alliance will enable Cherry Optical Lab to offer customers advanced products and services developed by Horizons Optical, including progressive lens surfaces, anti-reflective coatings and retail solutions. “As president of Cherry Optical Lab, I am personally excited about this partnership, having recently witnessed the advanced technologies of Horizons in action,” says Adam Cherry. These technologies and products include ThinMax lenses and Horizons’ patented gaze dynamics technology called mimesys, which uses virtual technology and AI, will revolutionize the industry, Cherry notes.

Horizons Optical opened a U.S. subsidiary near Dallas, Texas, in August 2022.
